Matt Brasik – Austere Medic Course Instructor

Matt Brasik, Lead Instructor

Matt Brasik has been in the medical field since 1988, when he became a EMT. He then progressed to become both a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Department as well as a street Paramedic.

He then took a position with the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics as an instructor with the Paramedic Program, as well as teaching Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. After serving in yet another ER, he worked as a critical care ground transport nurse. He has served as a medical volunteer in Honduras.

Matt currently works as an Urgent Care nurse.
